CIRCUIT:

L293D MOTOR DRIVER TO ARDUINO

  • L293D INPUT 1 ---- ARDUINO DIGITAL PIN 5
  • L293D INPUT 2 ---- ARDUINO DIGITAL PIN 6
  • L293D INPUT 3 ---- ARDUINO DIGITAL PIN 10
  • L293D INPUT 4 ---- ARDUINO DIGITAL PIN 11
  • L293D ENABLE 1,2 ---- ARDUINO 5V
  • L293D ENABLE 3,4 ---- ARDUINO 5V


  • CONNECT RIGHT MOTORS TO L293D MOTOR DRIVER'S OUTPUTS 1 & 2
  • CONNECT LEFT MOTORS TO L293D MOTOR DRIVER'S OUTPUTS 3 & 4


MAKE SURE THE MOTORS TURN CLOCKWISE WHILE PRESSING FORWARD BUTTON, IF ITS NOT ROTATING CORRECTLY CHANGE THE POLARITY OF THE MOTOR (I.E., IF YOU HAVE CONNECTED THE POSITIVE AND NEGATIVE OF THE MOTOR TO OUTPUTS OF 1 AND 2 RESPECTIVELY AND ITS NOT ROTATING CORRECTLY ,CONNECT THE NEGATIVE TO 1 AND THE POSITIVE TO 2)

  • CONNECT 12V BATTERY POSITIVE TO L293D MOTOR DRIVER'S VCC2 (VS)
  • CONNECT 12V BATTERY NEGATIVE TO L293D MOTOR DRIVER'S GROUND


  • BLUETOOTH MODULE TX TO ARDUINO RX
  • BLUETOOTH MODULE RX TO ARDUINO TX
  • BLUETOOTH MODULE VCC TO ARDUINO 5V
  • BLUETOOTH MODULE GND TO ARDUINO GND


  • CONNECT INPUT OF 7805 TO 12V BATTERY POSITIVE
  • CONNECT GROUND OF 7805 TO 12V BATTERY GROUND AND ARDUINO GROUND
  • CONNECT OUTPUT OF 7805 TO ARDUINO VCC


THE ABOVE CIRCUIT IS ONLY FOR ARDUINO PRO MINI 5V

YOU CAN USE ALTERNATIVE POWER SUPPLY TO OTHER ARDUINO BOARDS.
