ARDUINO LINE FOLLOWING ROBOT

 


HI GUYS YOU CAN FIND THE CODE AND THE CIRCUIT HERE:

SOLDER ALL THE NECESSARY MALE HEADER PINS IN THE MOTOR DRIVER SHIELD.

CONNECT THE MOTORS IN THE PORTS M1 AND M2, MAKE SURE YOU CONNECT IT PROPERLY AND ALSO MAKE SURE OF POLARITY.

  • CONNECT THE IR SENSORS PIN FROM A0 TO A4 ON THE MOTOR DRIVER SHIELD.
  • CONNECT THE 5V OR VCC OF THE IR SENSOR TO THE MOTOR DRIVER SHIELD'S 5V.
  • CONNECT THE GND OF THE IR SENSOR TO THE MOTOR DRIVER SHIELD'S GND.

  • CONNECT THE POSITIVE OF THE BATTERY TO THE MOTOR DRIVER '+M' PIN
  • CONNECT THE NEGATIVE OF THE BATTERY TO THE MOTOR DRIVER ' GND' PIN
  • YOU CAN FIND BOTH OF THESE PINS NEAR THE RESET BUTTON.

ALSO DOWNLOAD THE NECESSARY LIBRARIES BEFORE UPLOADING THE CODE.

FOR THE AFMOTOR.h LIBRARY, YOU HAVE TO DOWNLOAD THE LIBRARY FROM THE ARDUINO LIBRARY MANAGER WHICH I HAVE ALREADY SHOWED IN THE VIDEO ON HOW TO DOWNLOAD IT
QTRSensors.h LIBRARY:https://github.com/pololu/qtr-sensors-arduino/releases

AFTER DOWNLOADING, PASTE IT IN THE ARDUINO LIBRARIES FOLDER.

SEE THE ABOVE VIDEO TO KNOW HOW TO ADD LIBRARY.

I USED THE VERSION 3.1.0 FOR THE QTRSensors.h

THE LATEST VERSION DIDN'T WORK FOR THE CODE BUT IF IT WORKS FOR YOU, YOU CAN USE IT OR ELSE USE THE 3.1.0 VERSION.
